Amazon Web Services launched CloudWatch Omni, an AI-powered observability service for AI agents and applications. It offers 17 built-in evaluators, trace comparison, and a standalone web experience with SSO, no AWS console required. Built on OpenTelemetry, it works with existing CloudWatch telemetry and supports VS Code and Kiro extensions. Teams can start locally and connect to AWS later.
