LinkedIn Wins Order Blocking Mass Data Scraping

A California federal judge finalized a consent judgment requiring ProAPIs and Netswift to stop scraping LinkedIn, halt data sales, close fake accounts, and delete scraped data. LinkedIn sued last October over millions of bogus accounts that harvested member profiles, posts, and comments. The companies agreed to never scrape LinkedIn again.
