Ether's biggest corporate holders back new Ethereum research hub

Five former Ethereum Foundation researchers launched Ethlabs, a nonprofit research and development organization. SharpLink Gaming, Bitmine Immersion Technologies, and Consensys CEO Joe Lubin are among the funders. The launch follows a wave of high-level departures from the Ethereum Foundation, including co-executive director Hsiao-Wei Wang stepping down.
