Multinex boosts low light image enhancement

University of Manchester undergraduate Alexandru Brateanu built Multinex, an ultra lightweight AI model for low light image enhancement. The model outperforms comparable compact systems, recovering detail from previously unusable images. The paper was presented at CVPR 2026 in Denver.
