OpenAI signs deal to show Getty's images in ChatGPT results

Getty Images signed a multi-year partnership with OpenAI to bring its licensed content libraries to OpenAI search and ChatGPT. Getty CEO Craig Peters stated the deal delivers richer visual experiences. Getty previously banned AI-generated art and sued Stability AI, but later signed a deal with Perplexity AI in October 2025.
