UK Tribunal Allows Apple-Amazon Price Claim

The UK Competition Appeal Tribunal allowed part of a consumer lawsuit against Apple and Amazon to proceed over their 2018 deal, which allegedly restricted authorised sellers on Amazon and raised prices. Claims covering Amazon marketplace purchases, worth up to £306 million, survive; claims over Apple or other retailers were rejected. Both companies deny wrongdoing.
