Rokarolla malware targets 217 banking and crypto apps

Security researchers at Zimperium discovered Rokarolla, an Android banking trojan targeting 217 banking and crypto apps. It steals login credentials through invisible overlays, keystroke logging, call blocking, and screen recording. Distribution occurs via spoofed websites, third-party stores, and social media, not official app stores.
