Starknet holders overwhelmingly backed research into transitioning to an independent post-quantum Layer 1 blockchain. More than 93.5% of voting power supported the proposal, with over 2,800 wallets participating in the poll. StarkWare CEO Eli Ben-Sasson stated the community chose to lead on the biggest security challenge crypto has ever faced, setting a 2027 target for quantum safety.
