BNY in Talks with Kraken Parent Payward

BNY is in talks with Payward, Kraken's parent, over a broad partnership covering digital assets, custody, trading, payments and wealth management, two sources said. The deal could resemble Payward's Nasdaq infrastructure agreement. Talks are ongoing and may not conclude; both firms declined to comment. Payward has pushed its IPO to at least Q2 2027.
