Hacker builds GPU from 64,000 RISC-V chips

A hardware hacker named Balwierz is building a homemade GPU from 64,000 tiny RISC-V microcontrollers. The current prototype uses 8,192 chips on custom boards. A full HD display would require over two million chips, so the project targets a 320 x 200 resolution.
