SEC staff agreed data centre securitisations fall outside Dodd-Frank risk retention rules, responding to Latham & Watkins on 29 July. The market has passed $50bn in cumulative debt issuance since 2018. Nvidia announced $500bn of AI infrastructure financing with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR.
