Samsung's System LSI division is developing Gaia, a dedicated AI accelerator for PCs. The chip, built on a 4nm process with an optimized NPU, has early samples supplied to Lenovo and HP. Samsung is exploring integration with processing-in-memory technology. Mass production could begin as early as 2027.
