Zulip changed its newline behavior so ctrl+enter sends a message instead of inserting a new line, causing users to send half-baked messages. Another change made private message clicks go to the alphabetically first online person instead of the intended recipient. Navigation shortcut key changes could broadcast messages instead of sending private ones.
