Crypto group backs Custodia in Fed access fight

The Blockchain Association urged the US Supreme Court to hear Custodia Bank's challenge to the Federal Reserve's denial of its master account application. The amicus brief argues the Fed lacks broad discretion to deny eligible state-chartered banks direct payment-system access. Custodia applied in 2020; the Kansas City Fed denied it in 2023.
