UK Military Jams Foreign Satellites to Defend Itself

The UK military has been jamming or blocking other nations' satellites for the past year using a ground-based system, a defence source told the BBC. The RAF created a new Space Effects Squadron to disrupt hostile space threats. Defence Secretary Wes Streeting warned that losing GPS would cost the UK economy £1.4bn a day.
