Hackers Hide Linux Backdoor in Control Panel

Researchers at QiAnXin's XLab found a backdoor named cwpdoor in Control Web Panel servers on June 29. The malware executes commands without logs and targets versions 1.15.10 and 1.24.0. An archive containing the backdoor was uploaded to VirusTotal from Brazil on September 30, indicating real victims exist in the wild.
