Supermicro sells SambaNova inference chips

Supermicro and SambaNova announced a Tuesday partnership to sell AI inference systems pairing SambaNova's SN50 chips with Nvidia GPUs. The initial plan involves 10,000 SN50 chips for neoclouds and sovereign clouds. These racks draw an average of 20 kW and allow operators to add capacity without new builds, potentially delivering more inference capacity in 2027.
