Mistral Releases Open Weights for Large 4

Mistral AI SAS today announced the availability of open weights for its frontier model Mistral Large 4, nicknamed Le Chonk. With 1 trillion parameters and 52 billion active parameters, the model offers state-of-the-art cyber defense capabilities. It rivals Chinese-built GLM-5.3 on the Artificial Analysis Coding Agent Index while using 47% fewer tokens per task on average.
