Peripheral Hires Meta Exec for Volumetric Video

Toronto AI startup Peripheral Labs has hired former Meta Reality Labs product head Shaun Carrigan as its first chief product officer. Carrigan joined in June to lead product and go-to-market for Peripheral's volumetric video capture and markerless tracking tech for live sports. The company, founded in 2024, raised $8.7 million USD in seed funding two months ago.
