Mazda Plans More Changan-Based EVs

Mazda has begun talks with Changan Automotive about expanding its electric lineup beyond the 6e and CX-6e, both built on Deepal models. Mazda Australia managing director Vinesh Bhindi said surging fuel prices drove EV demand. A smaller, cheaper SUV based on the Deepal S05 is one possibility, though no models or dates were confirmed.
