A developer ported Linux to the 1993 Atari Jaguar console using uClinux for the MMU-less Motorola 68000 CPU. The port required splitting the kernel between 2MB RAM and 6MB ROM, repurposing the Jerry DSP for serial output and timers, and building a custom m68k-elf compiler to avoid unaligned memory access crashes. The kernel boots but crashes without an init process.
