Sealed Super Mario Bros. sells for $3 million

A sealed copy of Super Mario Bros. for the NES sold for $3 million at Heritage Auctions on June 12, setting a new video game record. The PSA 9.6 A++ graded copy is from a rare gloss-sticker second-production run, with only three sealed copies known. It was discovered inside a Control Deck NES bundle after nearly 40 years.
