Samsung decided against reintroducing variable aperture cameras in the Galaxy S27 series, citing higher manufacturing costs and thicker camera bumps. The feature, last seen on the Galaxy S9 and S10, was considered partly due to Apple's supposed iPhone 18 use. The S27 launches early next year.
