IEEE Life Fellow Manfred Fred J. Schindler is elected 2027 IEEE president-elect with 16,421 votes, defeating Senior Member David Alan Koehler who received 13,874 votes. He will begin his term on 1 January 2028 after leading the 2025 One IEEE committee and serving as 2024 vice president of IEEE Technical Activities.
