FASTag Transactions Fall While Issuance Rises

NPCI data shows September 2026 FASTag transactions declined 3.89% to 337.34 million, marking a drop from 351 million in August. Payment valuation fell to Rs 7,096.35 crore, down Rs 88.68 crore from the previous month. Meanwhile, tag issuance rose to 130.33 million, a 12.45 lakh increase from August. Daily average volume hit 11.25 million transactions.
