Marvell envisions optically-linked data centers across thousands of kilometers

Marvell detailed a vision of globally optically-interconnected data centers spanning thousands of kilometers. CEO Matt Murphy stated at Computex 2026 that workloads no longer fit within one data center. The Colorz 1600 1.6 Tb/s coherent optical solution, sampling later this year, targets inter-data-center connectivity.
