6 min read
OpenCode 2.0 launches today as a major overhaul, merging terminal, desktop, and web apps into one shared service. The release, announced Monday by Anomaly, introduces a rebuilt API, a new embeddable SDK, and background execution for subagents and shell commands. This update follows months of beta testing and addresses developer confusion regarding the previous version's stability.
