Russia patents tethered drone carrier for six spy copters

Russia patented a carrier drone that deploys six tethered reconnaissance copters. The Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School (NVVKU) filed the patent through Russia's Ministry of Defence. Each wired copter receives power and commands directly from the carrier aircraft.
