Go 1.28 introduces HTTP/2 parking to reduce memory usage on servers with thousands of idle connections. Testing on an Intel Core i7-1265U with 32 GiB RAM showed parking enabled 5,000 fewer goroutines and saved 84.7 to 92.6 MiB of RSS memory at 5,000 idle connections, representing a 38.9% to 41.4% reduction compared to the disabled state.
