Spanner Omni Hits General Availability

Google Cloud has made Spanner Omni generally available, letting enterprises run its distributed SQL database on-premises or on other clouds. The release adds enterprise security, backup and restore, worker nodes, and support. A free Developer Edition covers non-production use, while a paid Commercial Edition uses vCPU-based annual subscriptions. London CRM firm Attio has already migrated its agentic environment.
