Microsoft enables Windows 11 security feature hurting gaming

Microsoft will enable memory integrity on eligible Windows 11 devices next month via quality updates. The kernel-level protection blocks malicious code but can reduce framerates in select games on older CPUs. Users who disabled it previously won't see it re-enabled automatically.
