Are insecure code completions in PyCharm a vulnerability?

PyCharm's Full Line Completion plugin suggested code that disables certificate verification and suppresses security warnings in urllib3. Accepting these suggestions would introduce monster-in-the-middle attack vulnerabilities. The author reported the behavior to JetBrains, which did not classify it as a direct security vulnerability.
