A Warrantywise study of UK repair requests found general electrical faults, suspension wear, and the 12-volt battery appear more frequently than high-voltage battery failures. The on-board charger was the only EV-specific component in the top five, with the largest single claim reaching £10,455 ($14,000). Average EV repair request values increased by 10.7 percent between 2024 and 2025.
