Apple to revamp Siri with Google Gemini and Visual Intelligence

Apple will upgrade Siri using Google Gemini technology to enable context-aware conversations and multi-step task handling. A standalone Siri app may launch to compete with ChatGPT and Claude. Apple will introduce AI agents for app store task delegation and a Visual Intelligence section in the Camera app with object identification via Google Image Search. The Photos app will get intelligent scene recommendations powered by Apple Intelligence.
