Hydrovolt Recycles Iceland EV Batteries

Hydrovolt begins recycling Iceland's electric vehicle batteries in Norway starting in 2025. The company transports end-of-life packs to its Fredrikstad facility, which processes 12,000 tonnes annually. Hydrovolt acquired Northvolt for 78 million Norwegian kroner in January 2025 to secure this capacity.
