T-Mobile completed the world's first AI-RAN voice call using Nokia and Nvidia hardware this week. The test utilized Nokia's massive MIMO radio and Nvidia's Aerial RAN computer platform near the carrier's headquarters. This milestone marks a divergence in strategy between vendors as T-Mobile also recently tested Ericsson's AI beamforming in New York City.
