Hua Hong Plans Silicon Photonics Expansion

Hua Hong Grace Semiconductor chairman Bai Peng announced plans to significantly expand silicon photonics capacity by 2027 during an earnings call. The company reported net profit of US$123.4 million and total revenue of US$987.1 million for the quarter ended September 30. Fab 9B construction in Wuxi began in mid-September to address supply constraints.
