PlanetScale includes 100GB of egress on HA plans and 10GB on non-HA Postgres plans. Egress problems stem from fetching too much data too often. SELECT * queries and unbounded queries increase egress. Optimizing queries to reduce response size and frequency makes applications faster and cheaper.
