Thea Energy gets $20M federal grant for fusion magnets

Thea Energy received a $20 million ARPA-E grant to manufacture modular high-temperature superconducting magnets for its stellarator fusion reactor. The design uses four magnet templates and over 300 identical smaller magnets controlled by software to lower costs.
