Schneider Electric bids €1.2B for Shelly Group

Schneider Electric agreed on September 24 to buy Bulgarian smart home maker Shelly Group for €1.2 billion in cash, offering €70 per share. Founders Dimitar Dimitrov and Svetlin Todorov, who own about 57%, back the deal. It needs Bulgarian regulatory approval and 95% acceptance, with closing expected by early 2027.
