Freelander 8 pre-sales start August 10

The Freelander 8, an extended-range EV SUV from the Chery-JLR joint venture, will begin pre-sales in China on August 10. The model rolls off the production line July 30 at the Changshu plant. It features Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 system, an 800-volt platform, and a CATL battery. The first overseas version enters the Middle East by early 2027.
