The fix-at-source model for web accessibility has failed, according to AudioEye's 2025 Digital Accessibility Index. The index scanned roughly 15,000 websites and found an average of 297 detectable accessibility issues per page. AudioEye's 2026 Accessibility Advantage Report surveyed 400+ businesses to support runtime-based fixes.
