Apple secured an exemption from 100% semiconductor tariffs last year after committing to invest hundreds of billions in the U.S. and agreeing to have Intel manufacture chips for upcoming Macs and iPhones. The connection between the tariff talks and the Apple-Intel deal was previously unreported. Apple never raised prices due to the tariffs.
