Middle East Tensions Disrupt Space Supply Chains

Kshitij Khandelwal, CTO of Pixxel, stated at the ET Startups Awards 2026 on Friday that Middle East tensions are making it difficult for space companies to source key components. He noted that availability of detectors has become a challenge, affecting supply of equipment used in space and airborne sensing systems, causing costs to go up.
