China-Linked Hackers Exploit Sogou Input Flaw

Security firm Gen Digital reported that the China-linked hacking group UNC3569 exploited a flaw in Sogou Input Method to deploy the GRAYRABBIT backdoor. The attack used a crafted link to trigger a vulnerable, outdated Chromium 80 browser engine within the app, bypassing its disabled sandbox to execute code.
