DARPA Cuts Quantum Roster to Five Winners

DARPA announced five companies advancing to Stage C of its Quantum Benchmarking Initiative after narrowing the list from 11. The winners are Atom Computing, Diraq, IBM, IonQ, Microsoft, and PsiQuantum. Each selected firm could receive up to $300 million to build utility-scale quantum computers by 2033.
