USPS Tests Dashcams in Mail Trucks

The USPS began a pilot on Sept. 21, equipping 100 delivery vehicles in Washington, D.C. with Nextbase dashcams to scan roads, signage and sidewalks. The agency says the cameras, which do not use license plate reader software, will support community safety. The pilot runs several months and follows backlash against automated license plate readers.
