SAIC, GM extend China JV to 2047

SAIC Motor and General Motors renewed their SAIC-GM joint venture for 20 years to 2047, signing in Shanghai on August 5. The venture plans at least 30 NEV models by 2030 and will export the Buick Electra L7 in October. Sales fell 7.45% year-on-year to 265,927 vehicles in the first seven months.
