Waymo Robotaxi Reports Teens to Police

Two 15-year-olds were arrested in San Mateo, California after a Waymo self-driving vehicle alerted police to them drinking alcohol and shooting Orbeez water beads from toy guns inside the robotaxi. The vehicle pulled into a parking lot and waited for officers to arrive. Waymo vehicles carry internal cameras and microphones for safety monitoring.
