eBay Cuts 1,000 Jobs in Second Layoff

Online marketplace eBay confirms cutting around 1,000 jobs, representing about 9pc of its workforce, to simplify operations and reinvest in high-growth areas. CEO Jamie Iannone stated the move aligns teams with strategic priorities. This follows an 800-job cut in February and a recent $1.4bn purchase of Depop from Etsy.
